Theme: "Aim to win...heavenward prize" Phil. 3.14sportsfest
Date/Time: May 15, 2010, 8am to 5pm
Venue: Abellana National School

Groups and colors:
1. Pardo - Corinthians - Brown
2. Lahug - Philippians - Blue
3. Camella - Ephesians - Pink
4. Lower Guadalupe - Romas - Green
5. Upper Guadalupe - Hebrews - Red
6. Mandaue - Psalms - Yellow
7. Lapulapu - Kings - Orange
8. Talamban - Acts - Violet

Tentative Program:

  • Parade
  • Worship
  • Opening Prayer
  • Word
  • Introduction of Different Groups
  • Oath of Sportsmanship
  • Flag Raising (3 legged race to the flagpole-Couple)
  • Family went to town (Couples plus one child - props to be prepared by each group)
  • Cheering Competition (refer to mechanics below)
  • LUNCH
  • Japanese Walk (Couple)
  • Group Game: Volleyball (Ladies - North vs. South) participants to register before the game
  • Indoor Games

Cheering Competition:
  • Rules
    • Cheering/chant not less than 5 mins not more than 10 mins
    • Cheering/chant must be relevant to groups name and sportsfest theme
    • No gadgets are allowed, no recorded music, no microphone
  • Criteria
    • Cheering/Chant = 40%
    • Audience Impact =20%
    • Props/Costume=20%
    • Choreography=20%
  • Group Scores
    • 1st place - 30 pts
    • 2nd place - 20 pts
    • 3rd place - 10 pts
    • others - 5 pts
